It’s Turkey Time!

Announcing the 11th Annual VIRTUAL Running of the Turkeys 5k! 2020 has been a difficult year full of disappointments, cancellations, and losses, BUT THE RACE MUST GO ON….virtually, that is!

Please join us as our community comes together with a VIRTUAL 5k run/walk to support three local charities: PATH of York, Wesley United Methodist Grace & Mercy Soup Kitchen, and the newly formed, York School District One Education Foundation.

What is a Virtual 5K? A virtual race is a run/walk at ANY location, at ANY pace, alone, or socially distant with friends and family. Register for the VIRTUAL race on our website under “Register Here”. Registration will include a race bib with your individual number to download and print from your home computer. Run or walk your 5k anytime the week of Thanksgiving from Sunday, November 22nd through Thanksgiving Day.

Post a selfie or a fun picture of yourself and friends completing the race and include the hashtags #turkeyrunyorksc #outrunninghunger #runningoftheturkeys2020 and tag @turkeyrunyorksc.

While we are disappointed we cannot offer a race t-shirt this year, we have reduced the registration price to $16.00, and we are offering a Race Beanie for the first 250 race registrants, subject to your availability for pick up.

Register NOW, and help us bring joy and thanksgiving to our community!

Upcoming event

Dear Turkey Trotters,

There are times in our lives when we must come together to support our community in traditions that are fun-filled, gregarious, and joyful.

Then there are times that we must come together to support our community through tragedy, pain, and heartbreak.

This is not a time to run, but instead a time to stand still, together, in reverence for the hurt our nation feels.

Please join us this Sunday in York as we rally together to begin the deep and hard conversations about how we move forward, how we hold each other accountable, and how we heal.
